I guess define “real thing”, because realistically, whether popular on Dribbble or not, it’s just a new branch of skeuomorphism which is present in lots of developed apps. This new branch seems to be based around the vacuum-formed look which is a very classic design process.

Personally I like the designs on Dribbble, but as we know Dribbble is more focused on UI rather than UX, so we need to balance the discussion around the trend with more consideration about inclusivity 🙂
